## Uruguay Makes History at the Youth World Challenge New York 2026 Uruguayan Soccer Academy experienced one of the most important moments in its history at the **Youth World Challenge New York 2026**, an international tournament that brought together young players and teams representing countries from around the world. Representing **Uruguay**, our players wore the Celeste with pride, commitment, and tremendous passion throughout the competition held at **Stony Brook University in New York**. And all that hard work was rewarded. ### 🏆 U12 — CHAMPIONS Our **U12 (2014)** team was crowned champion of the Youth World Challenge 2026, completing an unforgettable tournament and taking Uruguay to the top. It was an achievement built on teamwork, sacrifice, determination, and the unity of a group that understood that representing Uruguay meant much more than simply stepping onto the field. ### 🥉 U10 — THIRD PLACE Our **U10 (2016)** team also delivered an outstanding performance, finishing in **third place** and showing the tremendous potential of our young players. ### ⭐ INDIVIDUAL AWARDS This historic tournament also brought important individual recognition. **Luke Caviedes #9** was named **Best Player U12**, while **Enzo Martínez #10** received the **Best Goal U12** award. These honors recognize individual talent while also reflecting the work and support of an entire team behind every player. ### AN EXPERIENCE WE WILL NEVER FORGET Beyond the results, the Youth World Challenge was a unique experience for our players: competing internationally, representing Uruguay, and sharing the field with young footballers from different parts of the world.
