Uruguayan Soccer Club is proud to announce that our president and head coach, Oscar Silveira, was invited to attend Soccerex Miami 2026, one of the most influential international gatherings in the global soccer industry.
Held from September 23–25 at Nu Stadium, located within Miami Freedom Park, Soccerex Miami brings together the people and organizations helping shape the present and future of the game. Over three days, representatives from clubs, leagues, federations, governing bodies, brands, investment groups, technology companies and youth development organizations come together to exchange ideas, create connections and explore new opportunities for soccer throughout the Americas and around the world.
A Global Meeting Point for the Soccer Industry
For three decades, Soccerex has served as an important meeting point for the international soccer community. The 2026 edition welcomes more than 70 speakers and representatives from over 50 countries, providing a space where decision-makers can discuss the most important subjects affecting the sport.
The event’s agenda includes conversations about global soccer strategy, club development, investment, sponsorship, technology, data analysis, media, infrastructure, fan engagement and the long-term impact of major international competitions.
Soccerex Miami 2026 arrives at a particularly important moment for soccer in the United States. Following the excitement generated by the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the event focuses on how clubs, academies, leagues and organizations can use that momentum to create sustainable growth and new opportunities for future generations.
Representing Uruguayan Soccer Club
Oscar Silveira’s invitation to attend this international event represents an important moment for Uruguayan Soccer Club. His presence gives our academy the opportunity to learn directly from leaders in the soccer industry, exchange experiences with international organizations and establish relationships that can contribute to the continued growth of our programs.
It also allows Uruguayan Soccer Club to share its own vision: developing players through quality training, discipline, education and a strong sense of family.
Since its founding in 2011, the club has continued to expand its work in youth development while creating competitive and international opportunities for players from our community. Being represented at Soccerex demonstrates our commitment to remaining connected to the evolution of the game and bringing new knowledge and opportunities back to our players, coaches and families.
Strengthening International Relationships
Authorities and representatives connected to the organization of the Youth World Challenge were also present at Soccerex Miami 2026. This created another valuable opportunity to continue strengthening the relationship between our academy and one of the most important international youth competitions on our calendar.
That connection holds special meaning for Uruguayan Soccer Club. At the 2026 Youth World Challenge in New York, our Uruguay U12 team was crowned world champion, while the U10 team achieved an outstanding third-place finish. Those accomplishments reflected the commitment of our players, coaches and families, while demonstrating that young athletes from our community can compete successfully on an international stage.
The conversations taking place in Miami are especially important as preparations begin for the Youth World Challenge Brazil 2027. Uruguay will return with the ambition of defending its U12 title, competing again in the U10 division and participating in the newly added U14 boys’ category.
Maintaining direct relationships with international tournament organizers helps the club better understand future opportunities, plan responsibly and continue opening doors for players who dream of representing Uruguay abroad.
