Uruguay is heading back to the Youth World Challenge. Following an unforgettable 2026 edition in New York, our delegation will represent the country once again when the tournament arrives in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from August 10–15, 2027.

In New York, our U12 team became champions and our U10 team finished in third place. Those achievements belong to every player, coach and family who helped make the journey possible. Now, we return with the ambition to defend the title and pursue more unforgettable moments for Uruguay.

The 2027 edition brings a new opportunity: the tournament has added a U14 boys’ category, which did not exist in the previous edition. Alongside U10 and U12, this expansion gives more young players the chance to compete on an international stage. The Brazil event is also set to include a U12 girls’ category.

Representing Uruguay is about more than results. It is about commitment, unity and the pride of carrying our colors onto the field. We are excited to begin this new chapter together.
