I had the pleasure of going to New York to do a summer camp with the people of Uruguayan Soccer Club and it was a total success! And I am not just talking about how the camp came out, I’m talking about everything I learned from both the staff and the kids who were there. The atmosphere during the whole camp was incredible. Uruguayan Soccer Club NY came to visit Argentina and we were lucky that they came to know River plate’s facilities, the largest team in Argentina. We learned so much from their humility and their desire to grow. We always doubt whether or not it’s a good idea to bring outside people to know the facilities, but after spending a few days with these guys, we realized it’s the right thing to do. Seeing their smiles was unique and we would do it again 100 times. Thanks Uruguayan for such a great experience.
