Everyone who knows Oscar knows about his passion for soccer and how much he loves to teach. It was just a matter for Oscar to take all his experience in soccer and desire to teach this beautiful sport to practice. And it was there in 2011 when he decided to take his first steps in the teaching of sport. What sport? The most beautiful in the world, FUTBOL. When it started, he was alone in this and the number of kids he had was less than 10. But he knew that if he put everything in his power to succeed he would achieve it, because after so much fighting, he was fulfilling a dream. And so it was, the years were passing and his little academy was going professional every day a little more and every time was a little bigger. Oscar loved this, not because his academy was bigger, but because many more guys were learning to relate to other ones accompanied by soccer teaching. In 2014, with a lot of people in his academy, the name was changed to Uruguayan Soccer Club, where the boys not only learned to play the sport, but also competed in major leagues. As the years passed, the leagues became bigger and bigger, the opportunities were appearing day by day and the club was increasingly known. Nowadays there is no house in Ronkonkoma or surroundings that does not know who is Uruguayan Soccer Club.

In all these years, as we said above, opportunities were appearing day after day. This was very important for the club itself, but mostly for the guys who were part of it. On the one hand, many leagues and championships were won, which filled us with pride, both the whole staff and also the boys and their families. They felt at home every time they trained, every time they played, every time they wore the Uruguayan Soccer Club blue jersey, and that is everything for us. The championships and medals took second place when Oscar had the brilliant idea of taking the boys to know the world representing the club and its colors. So first came the trip to Argentina, the last world champion and the birthplace of two of the best players of all times. It was an unforgettable trip, where the values of family, union, commitment, leadership and teamwork were the key to what this trip was. A magical experience for everyone. Then, we were lucky enough to visit Italy. Where not only was left at the top of the tournament to Uruguayan Soccer Club bringing the cup back to NY, but also, how we enjoyed every moment together is something unforgetable. This is Uruguayan Soccer Club, its family and its union.

Nowadays, Uruguayan Soccer Club aims at the soccer growth of each member of the club where family values, teamwork and leadership are the keys for this to work. We are playing very important leagues such as the EDP, the National USYS, the UPSL Academy and we are about to launch the program Top Soccer, for people with disabilities. Because if there’s one thing that describes this club, it’s competition and knowing that there’s no one who can’t play soccer. This sport is the best sport in the world and everyone has the right to play it. We are very happy with everything that was formed and with everything that is coming. Do you want an advance? Summer camps are coming with coaches from different national teams from South America, more trips are coming around the world, more difficult competitions and challenges to which we have to be prepared as we always were.
