In 2011, our founder, Oscar, took his first steps in coaching, driven by his deep love for football and the desire to teach. With fewer than 10 kids, he started training with nothing but passion and dedication. Over time, the academy grew, attracting more young players who saw football not just as a sport, but as a way of life.
By 2014, the academy had developed so much that a new name was needed to reflect its evolution. That’s when Uruguayan Soccer Club NY was born—a name that truly represented our values and commitment to shaping young athletes.
With its new identity, Uruguayan Soccer Club NY became a competitive force, entering major leagues and tournaments. The club grew in recognition and reputation, becoming a well-known name in Ronkonkoma and beyond.
Winning championships was rewarding, but our true victory was seeing our players grow—not just in skill, but in discipline, teamwork, and leadership. Parents and players alike felt a deep connection with the club, making every training session and every game an opportunity to build a family, not just a team.
As the years passed, new opportunities emerged. Our journey went beyond local competitions—we traveled the world representing our club and its values.
Today, Uruguayan Soccer Club NY continues to train, compete, and inspire. We participate in top leagues such as EDP, National USYS, and UPSL Academy. But we don’t stop there—we are about to launch Top Soccer, a program dedicated to making football accessible to people with disabilities.
Football is for everyone. It’s not just a sport—it’s an opportunity, a community, and a way of life. With upcoming summer camps, international tournaments, and even bigger challenges, we’re only getting started.
Be part of our journey. Be part of our family.
